Dubai Exports Seminar held in Mumbai highlighting buyer protection programme

After a successful session in Delhi the previous day, Dubai Exports Seminar made way to Mumbai. Several important businessmen gathered at the second meet of Dubai Exports Seminar which was held at Sofitel Hotel, BKC in Mumbai. This seminar was organized to empower and diversify Dubai’s economic growth by offering pioneering export related services to the business class.

Mohammad Al Kamali, Deputy CEO, Dubai Exports gave the welcome speech which was followed by Mohammad Ali Lootah, CEO, Commercial Complainants & Consumer Protection at Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai. The UAE Consul General H.E. Mohamed Saleh Ahmed AlJalah AI Teneiji was present at the seminar as well who shared his views on the growing bond between India & Dubai.

Mohammad Kamil, Deputy CEO, Dubai Exports who had arrived for the meet was quoted, “India has always been one of the important strategic partners for United Arab Emirates and Dubai in particular. Today we came up with a new initiative for buyer protection programme where we work closely with Consumer Compliance Team to ensure that people from India specifically maintain a strong relationship and have a good feedback about the companies back in UAE. We are trying to protect businesses.”

Mr. Piruz Khambatta, Chairman, CII National Committee on Food Processing and Dr. Ashraf Ali Mahate, Economist and Financial Expert, Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai delivered key seminars at the meet. Ahmed Nagi launched Consumer Compliance Policy which was followed by a Panel Discussion. Rakesh Gambhir, Head - Dubai Exports India Office presented his vote of thanks.
